Sahara's Lady Mia

  TheStory

Lady Mia's presence explains her name. She just carries herself like a little lady. Mia is full Peruvian, 7/16 Accoyo from a bloodline that looks more like the who's who list of great Accoyo males in the U.S. Her bloodline includes Accoyos: PPeruvian Caligula G4572, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014, PPPeruvian Cordero 6002, and PPeruvian Pluro. What a looker, she is stunning with a crimpy fleece that maintains a soft handle and dense bright fawn color.

An incredible blend of Accoyo genetics has come together in this awesome young male. His sire is the incomparable PCA Accoyo El Nino, heir to the Caligula dynasty whose full-Accoyo male offspring recently sold for $160,000 at the Parade of Champions Sale. His dam is a full-Accoyo PPeruvian Victor daughter and sister to MSA Accoyo Santino. With Accoyo Victor's recent passing, these genetics will be even rarer in the future! Victory has buttery soft fleece with a high-frequency crimp and extreme brightness that continues down his belly and legs. He recently took the blue ribbon at the Illinois Alpaca show. Victory is owned by Likada, Legacy Criations and Moonlight Meadow Farms. This award winning herdsire just started his breeding career and will bring powerful Accoyo Victor and El Nino genetics to a limited number of outside breedings!

Name: PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 (Full Accoyo)
Relation: Great Grandsire
About: PPPeruvian Royal Fawn is a full Accoyo male with a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his offspring. Consistent show winners and high sellers, his progeny boast numerous champions in every solid color group. Hand selected by the late Dr. Jim Vickers, Royal Fawn is the only light fawn Accoyo ever exported from Don Julio Barreda’s herd. According to Julio Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show. Royal Fawn is the sire of Dom Lucilio, Double “O” Good’s legendary male known as the herdsire of champions with more than 75 champion and blue ribbon offspring. Some would argue that no other alpaca in the country has had as much impact on the industry as PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. Double "O" Good Alpacas and Maple Brook Alpacas recently purchased Royal Fawn from Camelids of Delaware for $600,000.
