The famous Dom Timbo, Trinket's sire, is a dark silver grey herdsire owned by Magical Farms who is known for producing grey offspring with classic markings. MMF Scarlet O'Hara, Trinket's dam, is a medium brown Silverado daughter who produces grey when bred to grey. Trinket's grand dam, PPPeruvian Sienna is the dam of Stachowski Alpaca's award winning herdsire Shades of Grey. Trinket's medium silver grey color is very consistent and is free of spots in her blanket. Her fleece is fine with an excellent hand. Full Peruvian grey females with this pedigree are hard to find in the market.

Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, the only rose grey son out of legendary Peruvian Bueno, was awarded the prestigious "2003 AAA Futurity Huacaya Herdsire of the Year" award at the show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The award is given to one huacaya herdsire each year whose offspring have garnered the most points for placing, Grand and Reserve Champions in the showring. It is a true measure of a herdsire's ability to pass on his spectacular traits to his progeny. The 2003 Runner Up was Patagonia's Danko, another truly impressive herdsire.
